Amo Amo's single "Closer To You" is a modern day reggae pop gem that will go down in musical history.
To say that this track is a love song would be an understatement. Not only are the lyrics encapsulating a vulnerability that can only be experienced if you've been in a deep, earth-shattering love, but the instrumentals speak volumes in and of themselves. The harmonies are akin to what was well and good in '60s pop, while the percussion and keys hold down a quintessential reggae style. The vocals shine bright and center with their velvety crooning. "Closer To You" is a beautifully wrapped gift that we didn't know we needed, but absolutely love.
