Why do we like this?

What happens when two of the most on-point future soul / R&B acts get together to cover an 11-year-old R&B jam? Well, this.

Melbourne's Hoodlem have teamed up with Nashville trio BASECAMP to create an infectious cover of Amerie's "1 Thing" and Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me" -- and it's pretty damn perfect.

I have been of both these projects for a while now, and this just further solidifies my love affair with their music. Make sure you explore their luscious sounds if you haven't already!
