Why do we like this?

Reminiscence

A dynamic and evolving track from Alto Palo left me with a sense of hindsight I haven't felt in a while

"Frenemy" is an inviting yet vastly complex track that slowly introduces you to its intricate details as the song evolves and develops. It feels like the halfway point between an intimate folk acoustic fireplace track and a pulsing indie-pop anthem.

It creates a strong feeling of identity in its sound with the use of overlayed choir harmonies, a streamlined instrumental accompaniment, and an ever-present feeling of movement and growth.

It's such a technical track that every listen reveals something more like a memory.
