Why do we like this?

If you're a fan of Alpines, I've got some exciting news for you. Not only have they released a new track, but they've announced the release of their new album Another River. The follow up to 2014's Oasis, the LP will be available October 28.

The lead single, "Heaven," is an electronic confection infused with R&B. Guided by Catharine Pockson's soaring vocal, it's a hugely euphoric track with hymnal power and the vibrancy to take you to new heights. The slick production and poignant instrumentation add to the joyful and invigorating melody.

Don't sleep on Alpines. The quality and breadth of their music consistently proves they're unafraid of taking risks and pushing the boundaries of their sound.
