Why do we like this?

Allman Brown has quickly built a solid following in the states after the release of his Liz Lawrence (Bombay Bicycle Club) assisted first single, "Sons & Daughters." With his debut EP on the way, Brown has dropped another tune, the ethereal "Ancient Light."

Over the slow burning instrumentation, Brown's voice soars, bringing to mind similar folk pop artists like Bon Iver and James Vincent McMorrow. Brown's cooing also sounds like Aussie songwriter Matt Corby on his big hit, "Beautiful." 

Ancient Light is set for release June 16.
