Why do we like this?

Right, so this ain't Indie Shuffle's normal cup of tea, but for some reason it resonates really well with me.

You mighta thought that punk rock of this variety died back in the early 2000s, but US-based band All My Friends Hate Me hits all the notes with "Not In This Economy." There's a lyric around 2:05 about missing Obama and really that just captures the entire fucked up situation we're in right now.

Goddammit, I need more punk in my life right now. If you do too, check out Metal Butterflies, their recently-released album.
