Alicia Keys In Common (Figgy Remix)

After a long break, Alicia Keys returned with her new single “In Common.” Compared to her previous work, the track isn’t purely a piano-based song, nor does it really accentuate the vocals that she’s known for. Rather it employs a much more dancehall vibe similar to Rihanna’s “Work” or Drake’s “One Dance.” But unlike their focus on dance, Key’s new single was more hushed and sensual.

Well, Brooklyn DJ producer Figgy fell in love with the track and wanted to add a different vibe to it. It’s still sensual, but instead he inserted more jungle beats and played with Keys’ vocals. The slowed down effects adds a different realm of sensuality and the ramped up beats hit you in all of the right spots.
