Why do we like this?

It's hard to explain how much I like the style of electronic music used by FKJ as backing for Alice Russell's "Hurry On Now." Why? Because...I haven't really come up with an accurate name for this sound (feel free to enlighten me!).

It's that sliding synththat kicks in around the 23 second mark, meling your eardrums and reducing your brain to a puddle of moosh.

It's almost so amazing that I lost track of Alice Russell. But let's be honest folks: this woman's got some amazing pipes on her. Find yourself agreeing? Check her repertoire here.
