Why do we like this?

Back in 2012 I witnessed the birth of a talented songstress by the name of Alice Jemima, a young lady from Devon in the U.K. Fast forward to 2016 and I think it's safe to say with a release like "Electric" that Alice has successfully fulfilled her potential and then some. 

As a long time listener, I was always deeply entranced by her smoky tones, but the production value here is what impresses me most. The arrangement as a whole is quite magical in a really mysterious sort of way with the synth work in the backdrop giving Alice this real edge to her vocals.

Her self-titled debut album isn't due out till March next year, but i'm sure we're in for a few more surprises until then!
