Why do we like this?
You know you're a 90s kids if you have memories of dancing to Alice Deejay's electronic hit "Better Off Alone." There was pretty much no where you could have gone in 1999 and not heard the song from the Dutch Eurodance group. Thankfully Giraffage has put out a rework to get it stuck in your head all over again.
Putting his signature slowed-down and pitch-shifted producing skills to the test, Giraffage has thrown in some trap-inspired drums and bleeps and bloops to make this a whole new beast. Don't worry, you'll still find that signature Alice Deejay synth loop, it's just thrown into a cocktail shaker and mixed with a healthy dose of R&B and electronica. The result? A super tasty rework sure to get you drunk on the past.
You can pick up the track for a free download on Giraffage's SoundCloud. Just remember, I'm not responsible for how you're getting home tonight...
