Why do we like this?
Melbourne-based Ali Adriano says this track is about "re-discovering light and freedom after a depressive period." For many of us, this sentiment is likely to ring true as parts of the globe start to emerge from the depths of the ravages of Coronavirus.
Listening to this feels like you're in a club in the clouds. I especially like the interplay between the lightness to the vocals and the heavy layered beats. Most of us can't experience music in large groups right now, but we can use tracks like this to transport us to places and experiences we might like to imagine.
