Why do we like this?

I mentioned in one of my previous posts that Alfa Mist is an artist who was sadly missing from Indie Shuffle, but I noticed with approval that a fellow reviewer has jumped on the bandwagon and towards the light, with TWO REVIEWS this week. Yay!

The London-based pianist, producer, and rapper creates gorgeous, nostalgic music which I can guarantee to be the perfect late-night soundscape. The beautifully conceptualised Nocturne EP combines hip-hop production with classical and jazz elements, and spoken word poetry with soulful vocal features, to present an overwhelmingly great collection of tracks.

"Blaze" stands out as one of my favorites, although it's hard to pick when every track is so well put together. Have a listen to the EP for yourself, and check Alfa Mist out on Facebook and SoundCloud.
