A track is far more playful than the title implies: not only is it a joy, it's the purist endorphin shot at the table.
"Play" is a track that, from the start, sweats with its intentions. A jam of drums, sampled rhythms, and an almost childish nature to its backing instrumentation makes you feel the best kid on the playground, only to then slam the strobe on and remind you where you are, and where you are is club central.
Alewya's "Play" is an afro-fusion journey that doesn't stop until the last whiskey is served.
