Why do we like this?

Newcomer Alessia Cara's "Here" dominated summer playlists nationwide. Her raw vocals, relatable lyrics, and subtle production elevated this single above all on her recent Four Walls EP.

And then, Winnipeg-based producer, Vincent -- formerly known as XVII -- got his hands on it. And, boy, oh boy...

Vincent maintains the purity of Cara's vocal performance while infusing full, flowing synths and deep, hollow beats to achieve an insurmountable level of sonic complexity. 

"Here" was one of my favorite releases this summer, and, even I have to say, this remix is 100% better than the original. Enjoy!
