With the over-saturation of remixes in dance music, at times I tend to skip over the majority of them, but for some reason I didn't with this one. That reason was pretty simple. Alessia Cara is incredible, and I'm completely obsessed with her.
18-year-old Alessia carries a versatile sound, one that will set her above other vocalists in many ways. The force behind her music is driven by real life experiences that most can relate to, and is paired perfectly with vocal proficiency many dream to have.
Despite the unrealistic demand for remixes these days, Lucian shows us that there is a proper way to do things. It's a bit deeper than "does it sound good?" It's more of "does it make sense?" His rendition is not only coherent, but it sounds pretty damn great.
