Why do we like this?

Sounds like The Strokes right? Well Albert Hammond Jr. is the guitarist of The Strokes, so that makes total sense.

Albert Hammond Jr.'s vocals remind me of Sufjan Stevens at times, and then unhinge into a more teenage garage-rock demeanor.

It's bright and sketchy, cute and nostalgic, melancholic and light. The drums and percussion are fun, The Strokes signature guitar sounds are all there, there's a wealth of melody to be found, and some interesting turns and swings in the structure.

Enjoy!
