Why do we like this?

Sydney's Alba has been an act I've been admiring from afar for sometime now, but their latest release is too good not to cover. Having first tested the waters a couple of years back, they've taken their time to return to the spotlight with a new record on the way. 

After releasing their first new material "Operator" last month, the production duo debuted a second single yesterday. "The Shift" is as smooth as electronic gets, with elements of jazz topping off what is already a laid-back take on house music.

If you're looking for some new music to add to your late night playlist, then Alba is the way to go. I thoroughly suggest you check out their back catalogue also while you're here.
