Sounds like:
Waterstrider,
MorMor,
Low Hum
Why do we like this?
Multichannel Distortion
ALASKALASKA gives quiet reflection a synth-pop tv static and the sound is immense.
Watching television sometimes becomes a strange thing, you disappear into it, not actually taking in anything at all and just floating in the radio waves. "TV Dinners" is a hypnotic representation of that floating - the slow dissolution into a digital space.
The track is heavy and slow, fuzzy and sharp, like a digital imprint buzzing over the television screen. The synth chord that keeps repeating has my ears gripping and reaching for more. The track in its entirety is immensely addictive, ironically just like a television.
The track is like a looped static of immense beauty and I am lost in all the buzz.
