"Bees" is the latest from south London act ALASKALASKA. A slow jam, indie pop, headline grabber featuring a saxophone, there's a powerful message behind this beguiling track. As the band's singer, guitarist and principal songwriter Lucinda Duarte-Holman explains:
'Bees' is a song about making sure we continue to ask questions, demand answers, and consistently make more progressive choices today than we did yesterday.
The accompanying film clip features surprising images that match the lyrical content of the track. Clips of insects in their hives are spliced with everything from Aussie hero Egg Boy through to Donald Trump at Wrestlemania and twerking videos, with the clip described as "found footage film" by director Ashley Rommelrath.
This is an awesome tune made even better by the presence of the sax and is a great taste of what to expect from ALASKALASKA's forthcoming album The Dots.

The track...
