Why do we like this?
About a month back we introduced you to Alan Wilkis' PRINTS series with a song called "Old-Fashioned Girl." At the time we noted that there was a yet-released collaboration he'd done with Childish Gambino that we were pretty excited to hear, and so it is with great pleasure that today we get to bring you that song.
Alan and Childish came together through a mutual friend, and ended up laying down "More Than Normal" in a Postal Service fashion (that is, back-and-forth via the interweb). Naturally, Donald's hip-hop rhymes balance perfectly with Wilkis' signature electronic/funk sound.
Expect to hear from Alan in the near future, though this time in the form of his other project Big Data (a collab with one of Joywave's members). They're slated to release a new EP in July, and I'm pretty sure we'll be all over it.
