Why do we like this?

Normally I'd pass on a Lorde-esque sound pretty quickly, but Akine's got some serious vocal pipes on here. Enough so that I found myself feeling like I needed to share it.

Predictably enough, Akine is only 17-years-old. Seems to be the norm for vocalists like this -- though that's not meant to detract from the impressive maturity behind it. "No Gold" is seriously good for a second release, and it's no surprise that the Ukrainian artist is generating a good bit of buzz.
