Why do we like this?

I picked up on Akine not too long ago with her single "No Gold." There was something alluring and powerfully Lorde-esque in her vocal delivery, and this new single "Money In Your Mouth" keeps with the style.

To be honest, I wasn't totally sold on this song until it hit the chorus. It just has a perfect progression, interesting instrumentals, and a generally catchy style. She's definitely got something interesting going on.
