Why do we like this?

It feels like forever ago when I first hyped AJ RICE, a hard-working North Carolina producer who's worked with Lil B and proudly represents all things BASED. Back then, I couldn't get enough of AJ's first solo release, MiDNiGHT, dim LiGHT. Now, I can't get enough of his latest venture "” BASEDWORLD UNITE.

The compilation album features 28 tracks from a total of 24 different producers, including Keyboard Kid, Lou Pocus, and of course AJ RICE. "Be You" is the album's closing track (if you don't count bonus cuts), and is a worthy finishing touch for what has to be one of the more dynamic releases of 2013. You may not know every producer's name on BASEDWORLD UNITE, but you don't have to in order to enjoy all the deep vibes.
