Why do we like this?

Melbourne-based songwriter and producer LANKS (Will Cuming) has recorded an intimate loop-based cover of Airling's "Wasted Pilots," after recently supporting her on the 'Stallin' National Tour.

This "Wasted Pilots" cover pays homage to the gifted Brisbane songwriter, with LANKS utilising guitar, a loop station and vocals to create a wonderfully simple, yet still enjoyable, adaption which showcases not only his iconic falsetto but also his rich, sonorous bass voice.

Looking forward to hearing more from him, but in the meantime have a listen to some of the original tracks on his SoundCloud page, and a live cover of MØ's Waste Of Time which was released a few months back.
