Why do we like this?

Wow! What a lovely album to find. Nicolas Jaar is back under a little used moniker of his, A.A.L. (Against All Logic) with a sample-heavy, disco-house album that’s funky, and body moving. If you’ve caught Jaar live over the past few years you might recognize a couple of the tracks from the fist pumping finales to some of his sets, and this track, “Now U Got Me Hooked” is nothing short of a banger.

The album I Never Dream has flavours of lo-fi, disco, house and techno, channeling influences from the most popular underground dance music of the past 10 years.
