Why do we like this?
Did you know that Aeropsia translates to "seeing the air?" The word is used to describe the phenomenon of visual snow, a symptom where you see snow or static in your visual field. The artist known as Aeropsia lives with visual snow, and uses it as a source of inspiration for his music. Visual snow also happens to be the direct inspiration for Aeropsia's Chimera cover art.
Aeropsia titled his new EP Chimera because he digs versatility. Bringing together different styles happens to be one of the Santa Cruz producer's many talents, which you can hear for yourself with our premiere of "After My Own Heart." The track features vocal support from fellow Santa Cruz artist K.K. Smitten, an artist who is now officially on my radar.
Stream other cuts from Aeropsia's Chimera EP on SoundCloud, or download the project on Beatport.
