Why do we like this?
When Mist Glider reached out to me about premiering his remix of Adventure Club's "Wait," my interest was piqued. Adventure Club remixes are a commonly traded commodity on the music blog market. They're posted a lot and tend to command a lot of attention
That's why I want to warn you that this particular remix is about as far from Adventure Club as it gets. Mist Glider told me that he really made the track his own, and I'm inclined to agree. The Santa Cruz producer has a penchant for turning beats on their heads. Just ask Clam Casino's "I'm God." It seems that with Mist Glider, ordinary is just not in the cards.
The producer's take on "Wait" is commendable, and just may be one of my favorite Adventure Club remixes to date. Plus, I am a huge fan of the single's original artwork. Those kudos go to Mist Glider's good friend William Manson.
