I've lost track of how many times this song has played through my headphones at full volume. It's just that damn good. Heck, I even played it for my 94-year-old grandmother and she quite enjoyed it. No joke.
RÜFÜS have had a knack for creating songs over the year that pull me into a bit of a trancelike state. I don't think any of those were 8+ minutes long, so this comes a little bit of an ear treat.
The original version of the song by Adriatique and WhoMadeWho has a similar sort of captivating vibe, but doesn't hit with the same intensity as this remix by RÜFÜS. The fact that they decided to take a 5 minute song and turn it into something nearly twice as long was a bold and totally called-for move, because I have a feeling this'll stand out as my favorite song of October.
