Why do we like this?
Finally, a new Active Child track has trickled in.
Just a few weeks ago, we got a little teaser from Active Child called "She Cut Me," which seemed more like an intro with dramatic strings and emotional falsettos rather than a true single.
Today, Active Child gives us the first real glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming EP, Rapor. While staying true to the dramatic and emotional side of the Active Child roots, "Subtle" includes some poppy synths as well as Mikky Ekko, who is widely known for his part in the Rihanna track "Stay." Overall, the track is well balanced, but stays relatively safe for a new Active Child track.
Stay tuned for Active Child's new EP, as I am sure there's more goodness to come from it.
