Why do we like this?
Easily one of my favorites off of Active Child's latest Rapor EP, Patrick Grossi lends his angelic voice to a more experimental pop sound with "Calling In The Name Of Love."

His soaring electronics and analog synths compliment each other beautifully with his sensational falsetto, each piece dropping like gooey honey leaving the listener to lick it up. Exploring the world of 80s instrumentals, this track is fully realized and distinct in its message of chaos and despair. Leave it to Grossi to pull at your heartstrings and take you on an intense journey into an atmosphere of passion, love and heartbreak.

If you haven't had a chance to get your hands on Rapor, I highly suggest that you do as soon as possible. Not only do I get chills every time I listen to it, I personally, without a doubt in my mind, find this EP as a main contender for best album of 2013.
