Abraham Tilbury (formerly known as Althingslost) is a singer, songwriter, and producer out of Australia. I've written about him a number of times on the site, and for good reason - he's bloody great.
"Morphine" is the first introduction to his new, more mature sound, starting out with gorgeous piano melodies that set a whimsical tone to the track. Abraham’s stunning voice draws you into its warm embrace, as delicate instrumentation, and euphoric atmospheric production swirl around your eardrum.
Multi-layered electronic sounds and a beautiful subtlety permeate the entire track, which is the first taste of his upcoming Knife EP.
