Why do we like this?

I often find that when listening to something brand new with next to no expectation at all, the sweeter it can sound as a consequence.

Presuming that like me you've never heard of Aaricia before (unless perhaps you happen to be one of her 669 Facebook fans) then I hope that your discovery of her track "Losing You" is just as powerful and intense as it was mine.

Just one of seven track's on her recent The Ruler EP, "Losing You" is a deeply unsettling and thrilling piece of alluring dark pop. Emotionally raw and vulnerable, the track's honest lyrics and quaint vocals partner remarkably well with the song's simmering electronics and ponderous, metallic beat.
