One of the most exciting things about the Grand Theft Auto series is the in-game soundtrack. Ever since the 80s-themed Vice City secured licensed music, each installment thereafter has raised the bar, with GTA V no exception. 240 songs over 15 radio stations is epic, giving gamers the chance to listen to everything from Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now" to Dr Dre's "Next Episode."
Alongside these classic tracks are a handful of new recordings from present day artists, including A$AP Rocky's ghetto anthem "R Cali." Although short, coming in at just over two minutes, Rocky nails the feel of GTA, dropping references to designer threads and expensive vehicles, with the line "car-jacking, pistol-packing, motherfucking choppers clapping," cementing his place in GTA legacy.
