If anyone's checked out A$AP Ferg's
Trap Lord before its official release this week (streaming online
here), you'll understand why people are getting excited about the A$AP Mob affiliate.
Trap Lord is the New Yorker's first release, with Ferg going all out, enlisting the likes of Bone Thungs-n-Harmony, Onyx, Trinidad James, and A$AP Rocky to add their vocals over the Southern-styled trap beats lacing the album.
One track that didn't make the cut is "Reynolds," an exuberant 90s-meets-trap boomer that Ferg leaked over the weekend. While Ferg raps about Tommy Hilfiger, getting blazed, and starting from the bottom, it's Danny Brown's last minute cameo that elevates "Reynolds," with the Detroit MC upstaging Ferg with his typical frenzied delivery.
