Why do we like this?

Two of my favorite reasons for getting into SoundCloud are A Sol Mechanic and Handbook. Both men are talented producers who pay tribute to their varied inspirations through new and atmospheric productions.

They've teamed up to deliver Mindfulness, a split EP that is just what the beat doctor ordered. A Sol Mechanic brings those steady, head-nob-worthy vibes and then some on standout track "Elevate," which we're premiering today. I love the crisp percussion and how A Sol Mechanic incorporates his vocals into the lead synth line. Props to Handbook as well for his lovely, hip-hop-leaning contributions to the EP.

Mindfulness is out October 23 on Italdred Records.
