Why do we like this?

I came across Toronto singer Allie after one of my Facebook friends shared her new single "Tundra," and fell in love straight away.

Layers of warm, soulful vocals wash over lush R&B production by Montreal's Da-P, with the Soulection affiliated producer doing the collective proud (I'd say).

Taken from her upcoming sophomore EP Moonlust, "Tundra" could probably be labeled a cheesy break-up song, but that sultry essence which permeates the entire track, contrasting with some sharp 808's, brings it into another realm.
