Why do we like this?
A friend of mine recently pointed me in the direction of 123Mrk, an up-and-coming French producer.
What's interesting about this guy is that he's equally emerged in the UK bass culture as he is in the French electronic house scene -- evidenced by his recent signing to Squelch & Clap.
However, there are definitely French elements here. I imagine if Daft Punk did future garage, it would sound something like "Unrest," the track I'm sharing today. Now I can't think of anything more exciting than Daft Punk doing future garage, and while nobody can ever make anything that awesome (except for DP themselves), 123Mrk comes pretty close!
And if that doesn't convince you, he even managed to make Flux Pavillion sound good!
