Zimmer is a talented producer out of Paris. With a number of spectacular original and remixed tracks under his belt, he's setting -- and consistently meeting -- expectations with fans.
Shying away from Zimmer's usual disco/pop house sound, "Moonrise" is a standout tune off his latest EP, Coming of Age. True to any such milestone moments, this electronic track carries a spirituality, each note encapsulating the simultaneous euphoria and nostalgia for one chapter of life closed while another is opening.
The vocals act as more of a raw instrument than they do communicate lyrics, marrying together with the solid guitar notes, some well placed claps (always a winner) and delicate background percussion. "Moonrise" is a track worth repeating, be it at home solo or out late night.
