Why do we like this?

Detroit has one of the richest musical histories of any city on earth, being home to Motown, techno, and the soulful style of house pioneered by the likes of Moodymann, Theo Parrish, and Omar-S.

Andrés is the latest in Detroit's canon, with tracks like "New For U," "Lyke U Use 2" with Moodymann, and his latest track, a remix of Youandewan's "FM Jam." It's a dusty, soulful house jam, with a trademark chunky bassline and sweeping strings. This repurposes the original into something with a distinct Andrés twist.
