Why do we like this?

Yóste is the solo project of 20-year-old Brisbane producer Kurt Sines, who creates wonderfully ambient music. I have previously covered him on the site, with Chihiro, and he definitely deserves another post for latest single "Kaonashi."

Released via tastemaker channel-turned-record label La Belle Musique, "Kaonashi" is a downtempo offering awash with gently swelling synths, intricate melodic detail, and well placed beats, all tied together with Sines' folk-like vocals.
