Their latest rework/remix manages to keep the essence of the original ("Unsteady") while bringing it into a deep house space that will make you move as much on the inside as on the out.
The beautiful vocals by X Ambassadors lead vocalist: Sam Harris, remain powerful and palpable, while the overhaul in production gives it much more mass appeal and life.
The melancholic overtone of the lyrics and feel of the original version are still there, but who says that we're not allowed to dance our sadnesses in life, away?
The sub (200hz) is the perfect counterpart to the highs of Harris's vocals, bringing a separate balance in sound aside from the balances in pace (tempo) which they upped for this gem, and which they play with seamlessly throughout the duration of the track.
It's an instant classic for those summer days, and summer nights to come.
