Why do we like this?

World Champion are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. They first caught my attention with a hum-dinger of an indie rock track back in November.

This one, titled "Avocado Moon," sets a complete contrast to prior releases. It's a slow-building, borderline-alternative throwback that gets better and better with each and every second that passes.

It's no wonder Future Classic signed these guys...
