Willow Beats Merewif

Time flies when you're riding the wave of success. It's hard to believe that it has been almost a year since the self-released Alchemy EP from Willow Beats. The uncle-niece duo from Melbourne have been hard at work, and today we get a glimpse of the future with their newest single, "Merewif."

I'm not entirely sure how to describe what I'm hearing, but the cover art is a great representation of the single. It's the exploration of the unknown and untouchable that gives the production such an adventurous feel. Kalyani's enthralling vocals truly awaken the soul in this piece, injecting some real ebb and flow.

With a third EP on the way, I think we can look forward to a few more hidden gems.
