Portland's Wild Ones are finally releasing their debut LP, Keep It Safe, and the timing couldn't be more perfect.
With spring finally about to bloom in full, Wild Ones' debut album is just as refreshing and new. There's an awakening effect that Keep It Safe envokes, and while it was hard for me to choose just one track for this review, I think "18 Mile Island" is a standout.
The chord progressions and delicate balance between the guitar, bass, and electronics is truly fool-proof. The sweetly delicate vocals bring a certain kind of innocence to this track.
So sit back and allow the cathartic qualities on "18 Mile Islands" to wash away the winter woes and welcome spring's new beginnings.
