Self-described as “Earth’s Mightiest Band,” Brisbane’s favorite twelve-piece (!!) Velociraptor are back after a year long break with “Ramona,” the first track from their as-yet-untitled forthcoming album.
A fiery garage rock number, Ramona is everything we’ve come to love about Velociraptor – explosive Vaccines-esque guitars, Jeremy Neale‘s trademark catchy melodies and a call-and-response chorus destined to become a staple of their live show.
The band assures us that “there’s a whole bunch of real cool stuff happening in the next few months,” and if this track is anything to go by, they’re probably not lying.
