Here's another "better late than never" type of post from me.
Sydney-based duo Twin Caverns (Louise Millar and Michael Macias) are only scratching the surface of what looks to be a successful musical future, with their first two singles highlighting them as an act to watch out for. The duo announced themselves a few months back with their debut single "Swell," and now continue to cause waves with the release of a second track called "Undiscover."
Their music is a tastemaker's wet-dream, drawing reference from classics like Portishead while still maintaining a modern relevance in their production. Millar's unbelievably sultry vocals are a marvel, and they're even more affective when paired perfectly with an intelligent combination of electronics and guitar riffs.
Both Twin Caverns' releases are available as "name your price" downloads on their Bandcamp. Given my tardiness covering their music, I suggest you snap them up pretty quickly!
