Why do we like this?

A SoundCloud comment described this track as delicate, and there's no really no better way to describe it. The conjunction of Blankts' vocals with Tülpa's production conduct an intertwined feeling of fragile tension, characterized by love, fear, and a vibrant, youthful imagination.

"Gnats" may not fit in your everyday top 40 category of pop music, but it has the same catchy appeal that any great pop record is loved for. However, most pop records have a sole purpose of evoking a specific emotion, and Tülpa and Blankts found a formula that lifted me up and made me happy, while allowing me to be sad once I further dissected the lyrics.
