A lot of remixes are sent my way, and unfortunately the majority of them don't differ too much from the original. This one, however, stands out as perhaps the most surprising to date.
That's because French producer Petit Prince has completely twisted this track, turning a raucous sing-a-long into a melodic house track. It's actually quite fun to listen to both back-to-back, trying to pick out recognizable samples from the original -- a vocal hook here, a stem of percussion there.
The original of course comes compliments of Brisbane Brit-pop band Tourism, who have appeared on Indie Shuffle a few times over the years. The single actually climbed up toward the top of our popular list back in August of last year.
To top off this remix experience, the guys have released a colourful "Kaleidovoid" video to accompany the track - check it out below.
