Last weekend I spent my time at a music festival, listening to a pretty diverse spread of dance music. Going to these events is something I only do if I really have to, so seeing "future bass" being played on main stage was something that still feels pretty new to me. However, signing into SoundCloud and being inundated with Flume and Wave Racer ripoffs is beginning to get old.
Despite the revolving door of trendiness with every up-and-coming artist sounding the same, there's the occasional track that actually catches my eye. Toby's first single from his debut EP was one of those rare exceptions. This is a track that may have a similar synth as other records, but the arrangement is one of a kind.
