Why do we like this?

Premiering on Indie Shuffle today is this standout new pop track from California-based solo act called The Wild Wild.

The Wild Wild, aka Benjamin Dunn, describes his sound as "vintage pop." He clearly draws influence from a variety of sources, and indeed this track has a bit of everything. Benjamin clearly has the depth of talent to effortlessly pull it all together.

“Sing” neatly straddles the border between pop and rock. Catchy and interesting, I can hear skillful changes in tempo and melody. It gets low for a while and then builds to get carried home by soaring synths and Benjamin’s solid vocals.

This track also marks The Wild Wild’s debut appearance on Indie Shuffle. Solid start! The Wild Wild is working towards his debut LP release, slated for 22 January 2016.
